Assistant Professor, Lindsey Wilson College

Hello SACES!

I am honored to be considered as a candidate for President-Elect of SACES. As a dedicated licensed counselor for 24 years and a counselor-educator for over 20 years, I am excited to contribute my skills, experiences, and passion to further the SACES mission.
During my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of counseling in individuals’ lives and the profound impact that counselor educators have on shaping compassionate and effective counselors. Having multiple roles in the field, such as counselor, supervisor, and counselor educator, assists me in having a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that we face in this field.
I have served in various roles within SACES, including graduate student representative, supervision interest network co-chair, graduate student/new professional interest network co-chair, and Emerging Leaders co-chair. I have also been part of planning for the conference “Day of Service” initiative. I have learned the importance of collaboration and commitment in these roles. I’m excited about combining the knowledge I have gained in various areas of SACES with my passion for serving.

Thank you for your consideration!

Clinical Associate Professor, William & Mary School of Education

Hello, SACES colleagues!

My name is Noelle St. Germain-Sehr and I am happy to be a candidate for the office of SACES President-Elect. I have served as the SACES Secretary for the past two years and have learned a great deal during this time on the SACES Executive Committee. I also served for five years as the Co-Chair of the SACES Women’s Interest Network, and Chaired the SACES Interest Network Operations Manual Taskforce. I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve the SACES members as a member of the EC and am happy to extend that service through the role of President-Elect. I am a Clinical Assistant Professor and Counseling Clinical Experience Director at William & Mary, a LPC-S, NCC, and ACMHP with over 20 years in CES and 30 years of clinical experience. I hope to support ongoing efforts to mentor and encourage future leaders in the field through authentic connection among our members, committees, task forces, and EC. I also aim to do what I can to enhance diversity and inclusion efforts in all forms in our SACES leadership, at our conferences, in our profession, and in our communities.

I am pleased to nominate myself as the Secretary-Elect of SACES for the term 2024-2026. As a candidate for SACES Secretary-Elect (2024-2026), I would appreciate your vote. My membership in ACES began in 2020, and I have actively participated in state leadership on various boards. In my region and beyond, I have had the pleasure of working with passionate and enthusiastic professionals from all over. I currently serve as the President of the Arkansas Military and Government Division. ACES, SACES, and ArCA have provided valuable knowledge to me that I have been able to apply to helping counselors and counselors in training in our state.

Thank you in advance for your consideration for this role.

I am honored and excited to self-nominate to become the next SACES secretary-elect. I am deeply interested in serving the SACES membership because I believe in the power of collaboration and shared knowledge within the counseling and educational community. As a dedicated professional in this field, I am committed to fostering an environment where individuals can access resources, support, and opportunities for growth. Having served on two major conference planning committees, I intend to use my experiences and expertise to assist the executive board and operate at maximum efficiency in serving the SACES membership. The secretary is a critical role, managing the dissemination of important information to the membership, ensuring that everyone is well-informed about the organization's activities and decisions. Knowing that the secretary plays such a vital role in the smooth operation of any organization, I am enthusiastic about contributing to the SACES community by facilitating connections, promoting professional development, and working together to advance our beloved field.
